At Matru, it is one large family. Loving and Caring, its an affectionate lot. The teacher- student relationship is healthy and committed. Well mentored, students quickly recover
from any failings and shortcomings. The academically weaker are given the extra coaching and tutoring to enable them to catch up with the mainstream.
Students live a quality life outside the college in their hostels. They are encouraged to self-manage, introduced to multi-national / multi-cultural environments and groomed as mature persons able to face the challenges
of the career. Their social life outside the campus is well monitored and guided such that it is complementary to their study and not distractive.

The student experience at Matru School and College Of Nursing includes a diverse range of cultures, curricula, and extracurricular activities. We offer many options for our students to choose from, making them directly involved in designing their own educational path which meets the high standards of our curriculum requirements. There’s so much for students to do and experience here.
STUDENT CLUBS
Matru students are involved in many Student Club activities that fine tune their curricular and extra-curricular skills.
Some of the club activities include:
Community Outreach Activities that involve meeting different sections of populations and understanding their needs.
Taking part in Workshops and Seminars that enables them to interact with professionals from the fields of medicine, paramedical, pharma and others, to update their knowledge.
Participate in School Health Programmes that help to understand children-specific needs.
Actively involve in Immunization Programmes conducted by various organizations as part of societal welfare initiatives.
TRANSPORTATION
Nursing education involves movement of students from college to many destinations. A large fleet of modern Buses and Vans of Matru College of Nursing takes care of this needs which are maintained and manned by efficient and experienced staff.
SPORTS & EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Its not all study at Matru. Physical and Emotional grooming is achieved by encouraging students to play and engage in a number of cultural activities. Both formal and informal, they bind the students together, develop their team-working skills and also enable them improve their confidence levels.

Facilities for both indoor and outdoor activities are provided both at the College and Hostel premises. Students are encouraged to compete within the College as Teams and also are trained and sent to inter- collegiate competitive events where they have emerged winners in many competitions. The name ‘Matru’ is an enviable name in the inter-collegiate competition circuits because of their competitiveness.
